A few weeks the anolog stick on my psp slim stopped working. The anolog stick itself moves, but whatever is on the screen doesn't. So if im playing a game and am pressing up on the anolog stick, whatever is on the screen doesn't move up. Has anyone else had this problem?

  1. Sorry to say but, calling Sony is probably your best bet. =\

Its okay, I know how you feel. =(

I HAD  PSP, and some of the buttons started to loosen after a while. But I dont have to worry about that problem anymore, because someone knocked it on the floor at school and busted it into pieces. T.T. Never got a new one. THAT WAS A GIFT, MAN! And was blamed on me.

But anyways, back to your problem. If you haven't had it that long, you can call Sony if you have a warranty, or you can take it somewhere to have it fixed. The analog stick isn't that big of a deal (mechanical wise. There's not much to it) If im correct, you can replace the analog stick with different pieces, so if you can't take it somewhere to get it looked at, then try to remove the analog stick and replace it. The piece may be loose, or there may be something wrong inside the psp.

But I don't suggest trying to remove it, because that can damage it. They really shouldn't put spare analog sticks in the packages. People bust up their psps trying to replace them lawl.

Just take it to a GameStop or somewhere, and if they can't do anything to it there, they'll probably reccommend you to call Sony.
