PSP software... ?

Just bought a PSP and updated the system software via internet.. Curious about what software I need for homebrew games/apps/etc or any other nice software I would need to get for it? Not sure where I would find it and what would be best without trashin my psp lol. Any help?

    . You may have to downgrade you psp to use custom firmware by either using a unpatched version of lumines or a pandora battery+ magic memory stick.

    There are several custom firmwares to choose from, i personally have m33
