  1. Make sure the volume is not set to zero. Try raising the volume using the volume buttons located on the front of the PSP. Make sure the mute setting is not on.  Go to system settings, then go to restore default settings, you well need to set up your network connection on the PSP. If that does not solve the sound problem, then headphone jack may be broken off the card. this can be soldered back together if you know how to do it.
