PSP update help needed?

my PSP says its version is 3.17 and that there is no need to update is there a way i could?if so what version?

I check mine periodically and it will let you know if you need to update. For now, you're fine. So breath. you're cool.

What you need to do is go to plastation underground and look for unpdates there. Your PSP won't update itself. I have 9.5 or something like that. You might want to keep it like that....just incase you want to maybe hack your PSP so that it can show it's true potential. But, go to that website, and look up on it.
