PSP video help!?

Question

I want to put videos from my camera/windows movie maker to my PSP. step by step! this is what i did:

1.My computer

2.PSP

3.M_root thing

4.made video file

5.Put video's in

6.unplugged USB

7.looked at videos in PSP

8. NOTHING'S THERE!

What is MP4 and how do i make a MP4 file and where do i make the Vid. file? (also what is the file name)

must be the right codec and video format mp4

The easy way is download a video converter i use prysm its good then open the file convert it and watch it on your psp it converts 10 some types into mp4 and it even says psp or ps3 ect. select psp and click destination folder root of mem stick /VIDEO then its ready to watch and you can convert full movies no water marks or any of that c**p

Root of mem stick then take your vid put it in PSP/VIDEO then your movie is there it has to be .mp4 in  not mp_root ever

You have to convert your video to mp4 video at first, then copy the mp4 video to the "Viddeo" folder on your PSP memory stick, if you don't have this folder, create it by yourself.

There are two ways to put videos on your PSP depends on your psp firmware version.

First, you need to convert the files to PSP mp4 format with a specialized PSP converter (the converted file is named as “M4V00001.MP4”).

Then, How to put the converted PSP files into your memory stick

1. Mostly:

If the version of your psp is higher than 3.0, you just need to copy the converted files to the “Video” folder of you memory stick (if the “Video” folder doesn’t exist, manual create one).

2.

If it's lower than 3.0, you need to manual create a folder in the memory stick and rename it as “MP_ROOT”, then built two sub-folders in it which renamed as “100ANV01” and “101 MNV01” respectively and put the converted MP4 files in to the “101MNV01” folder.
