PSP videos... ?

Question

when i rip a DVD to the computer its never in mp4, its always made of audo and video folders, but theres never anything in them.... i tried to put those into video 7 or 9 or w.e it is, but it just doesnt ocnvert it. what software do i need to rip the dvd so i can actually then convert it into psp form ?

psp video 9 converts, deffo from avi, not sure about any other format, try it
