PSP wont connect to BT HomeHub?

Trying to connect my PSP to a BT Home hub.

I know there have been similar questions on here before but none have provided an answer.

Problem is: the PSP seems to find the hub , but time out when trying to obtain the IP address?

Im sure i have gone through all the correct steps (wep key etc) but its not working.

Does the BT hub not support the PSP?

Was thinking of ringing BT but as you probably know, they are bloody useless!

Please help!!

  1. Hi mine did this and what you have to do is type everthing in manual but first you will need to find out the

    IP ADDRESS

    SUBNET MASK

    DNS SERVER

if you are going manually it will take you to this option and you put all the numbers in and then it should work as you have put in the right ones.

Im not sure how you will find out the above I have a wireless router on my pc so got the details as I can look on my pc in the properties of my router and get the details, so I just wrote these down typed them in my psp and it worked, you will still need to put in the wep key but it will connect manually instead of trying to connect itself and timing out because you havent imputted the ip address, subnet mask, and dns surfer etc

  2. on my sky router there is a wep key, when connecting to it for the first time with the PSP i had to enter the security/wep number/key on the router.

make sure if it's in CAPITALS you do the letters exactly the same

  3. go to http://www.dark-psp.darkbb.com brand new possibly the best psp website in about 1 week sign in and get alot of stuff.
