three points back to Eindhoven.
The 48-year-old has revealed the importance of his side’s upcoming league encounter and urged his side to perform their best away from home and secure maximum points.
“We won’t make the trip to Enschede just to get a share of the points; we are keen to take all three. http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/PSV-c40281 boast a rich history, while Twente are writing history. That’s why I expect an open game. Being aware and alert can make the difference”, Rutten said
while talking to the media.
Although the Boeren boast an impressive overall record against the Tukkers, they have struggled to record a victory in any competition for the past four seasons with their last win came back in April 2007.
Rutten knows that his side has not performed at their best against the outfit from Enschede for the past few seasons. However, the Dutch trainer believes that his side has the quality to outclass the Tukkers away from home.
The 48-year-old tactician admitted that the Enschede giants are still a strong unit despite letting go off Bryan Ruiz and http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Theo-Janssen-c34871 to Fulham and Ajax Amsterdam respectively in the summer transfer window. He further said that the Tukkers are a dangerous
side to beat when they are playing in front of their home crowd.
“They are physically strong and enjoy a good home record. But we’ve put in fine displays on our travels in Europe and I feel confident ahead of tomorrow night’s clash”, Rutten concluded.
The Eindhoven giants are currently level on 21 points with the Tukkers in the league table, but occupy the second spot on better goal difference. Both sides trail the league leaders http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/AZ-c38571 Alkmaar by four points.
Although FC Twente have secured better results against PSV in the recent years, losing only one of their 10 fixtures, they still have to put in their best performance to bag all three points against the impressive PSV.
