PSV Eindhoven’s technical manager, Marcel Brands, has full confidence in the abilities of Fred Rutten, despite PSV not achieving silverware this season. Brands raised his voice after the coach received much criticism from the Boeren fans.
Rutten has a difficult time with the Boeren in their 2010-11 Eredivisie campaign. Rutten’s men dropped out of the race for the title on Sunday, as the Boeren’s closest competitors secured all three points in their respective fixtures. However, PSV’s technical
manager has voiced out that Rutten has full support from the Boeren's management and will be leading PSV in the next season as well.
Brands said, “Fred Rutten current contract runs until the summer of 2012. I am still positive compared to Fred and his staff. I stated previously that Fred is a coach who can work longer at the club.”
PSV currently sits third in the league table, three points behind the league leaders FC Twente Enschede and trail the second-placed http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/AFC-Ajax-c38228 Amsterdam by two points. However, with only one duel left to play for each Eredivisie side in the season, Rutten’s
men can only seek UEFA Champions League qualifying round berth if they manage to secure all three points in their last fixture.
PSV will play http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/FC-Groningen-c39119 at the Euroborg Stadion and the second placed Ajax will clash with the league leaders at the Amsterdam Arena on Sunday, May 15. Should the Boeren manage to bag all three points in the upcoming encounter, they will certainly finish
second in the league table.

Rutten will now be hoping that his troops stage a dominant show at the Euroborg Stadion in their last encounter of the 2010-11 season in a bid to cement their place in the next season's Europe’s primary club competition’ preliminary round.
