The 41-year-old tactician admitted that his side’s title ambitions have received a major set-back following the 2-1 loss at the hands of RKC Waalwijk on Eredivisie match-day 29.

The 41-year-old tactician admitted that his side never really managed to control the game and lost three crucial points in the title race.
“We put pressure on their defence for the first twenty minutes but then we could not control the game any longer. We conceded little but did not create much either. The second half continued in much the same vein as the first”, Cocu was quoted as saying
to the club’s official website.
Despite dominating proceedings in the opening 20 minutes of play, the Eindhoven giants failed create anything threatening of note. As the game progressed, the Waalwijk outfit started to impress. However, both sides failed to break the deadlock in the first-half.
After the half-time break, RKC scored two goals in quick succession. Sander Duits’ long range strike in the 55th minute gave the home side a deserving lead. Two minutes later, http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Mitchell-Schet-c26105 doubled his side’s advantage.
PSV pulled one back four minutes from time through Jan Vannegoor of Hesselink, but it was too little too late for the visitors, and the match ended in a 2-1 win for RKC.
Cocu was vocal about his side’s poor show, but was all praise for the Waalwijk outfit’s efforts.

However, the 41-year-old is hopeful that the duo would be back before his side’s upcoming Eredivisie encounter.
“I hope things will turn out well”, Cocu concluded.
