The 16-year-old wonder-kid has been targeted by Newcastle United, Arsenal and Manchester City, but the Boeren technical director Marcel Brands has stressed that the youngster should choose first-team prospect over lucrative deals.
Reports confirm that PSV Eindhoven youth product, Riechedly Bazoer, has been targeted by several European clubs including the likes of Newcastle United, http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Arsenal-c38429 and Manchester City.
However, the Boeren technical director, http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Marcel-c23507 Brands, has urged the 16-year-old sensation to choose regular playing time over lucrative offers from abroad.
The Eindhoven giants have reportedly offered the youngster a three-year contract, but reports also indicate that the talented central defender is also considering offers made by other top notch clubs from http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Italy-c2926.
And the PSV chief has made it clear that the 16-year-old must choose whatever is best for him.
“We have offered him a professional contract now he has turned 16. I speak with the family, the boy and his agents. We hope we will get an answer soon. It is his choice and the agent will do their best for the player. The only thing we can do is offering
him good possibilities in terms of coaching and prospects”, Brands was quoted as saying in an exclusive interview to Goal.com.
Bazoer, who is regarded as one of the finest products coming from the PSV youth academy, made his debut for the Oranje U-17 earlier this year in March during the 2012 UEFA European Under-17 Football Championship.
The promising Dutch stopper played in all five games for the Flying Dutchmen that went on to lift the title by defeating http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Germany-c2904 U-17 side on penalties.
Brands went on to reveal that the youngster has an excellent reading of the game.
“He is one of the talented players in our youth academy. He is a central defender. He is not tall and plays football like the way we do in Holland. He is very comfortable on the ball and reads the game well”, the http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/PSV-c40281 chief concluded.
The Boeren would be hoping that Bazoer snubs interest from abroad to sign a contract that will keep him at Philips Stadion until the summer of 2015.
