The former Wisla Krakow stopper has warned his teammates about the Hague outfit, and has urged all the players to put in their 100 percent if they are to secure all three points at the end.

The 25-year-old, who has thus far represented the Eindhoven giants in 63 league games since his arrival at Philips Stadion from Wisla Krakow in the summer of 2010, has admitted that ADO will give his side a stern test. However, the Brazilian stopper has
expressed confidence that his team will eventually manage to emerge victorious, as they have been performing brightly for the past few weeks.
“ADO has a good team and is playing at home and will want to make things difficult for us. But lately, PSV has been playing very well and managed to get the first position in the table. Now, our challenge is to score points and stay on top”, Marcelo was
quoted as saying to journalists.
PSV have staged exciting shows since the start of the 2012/13 campaign. Sitting at the summit of the Eredivisie table, they have managed to secure victories in 10 of their 12 games thus far, while suffering defeat in the remaining two.
In addition, the Boeren have played aggressive football, and have managed to find the back of the net regularly in every game.
Marcelo has stressed that his side must continue playing aggressive football to secure good results. However, the highly-rated stopper has also admitted that his side must also remain cautious on counter-attacks.
“We have to keep playing our football forward, always attacking our rivals. Our attack is by far the best of the Eredivisie with 42 goals in 12 games. With the attack strong, things get easier for us in the back, but we have to beware of counter-attacks”,
the Brazilian central defender concluded.
Marcelo would be hoping that his side continues to grind out decent results until the end of the season, and keep their position at the summit of the table intact to lift the Eredivisie title.
