Young http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Zakaria-Labyad-c37796, has confirmed reports about his decision to join Sporting Lisbon before the start of the 2012/13 campaign.
The 19-year-old has an ongoing contract that is due to expire in the summer of 2012, and he is set to leave the Eindhoven giants on a free transfer.
The Moroccan ace has expressed disappointment over the PSV management’s lack of initiative to renewing his expiring deal.

The winger-c*m-midfielder went on to reveal that the Eindhoven giants wanted to sell him to Benfica, but he believed that a move to Estadio Jose Alvalade would suit him better.
“I had a call from Marcel Brands today. He said Benfica wanted to sign me. I was very disappointed. PSV wanted to sell me in January, but I blocked the transfer then, because I wanted to stay in Eindhoven. Now PSV wanted to sell me to Benfica, but I finally
opted for Sporting. I think Sporting is the right thing for me. They work with many talents and I have a good feeling”, Labyad concluded.
The powerful forward is a product of the Eindhoven giants’ youth academy. He started his professional career at Philips Stadion in the summer of 2009 and has thus far represented the Boeren in 60 matches, netting 14 goals in return.
Although the youngster has performed impressively since making his Eredivisie debut in February 2010, his scintillating shows this term have remained phenomenal, scoring five goals in 28 appearances while setting up seven more along the way.
His good performances reportedly garnered him interest from http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Arsenal-c38429, who expressed keen interest in acquiring his signature this summer.
