The Friesland outfit have reportedly turned down Boeren’s first bid for the Dutch international, as d**k Advocaat’s side failed to meet the club’s five million Euros asking price.
Reports from Abe Lenstra Stadion confirm that Heerenveen have rejected an offer from PSV Eindhoven for Luciano Narsingh.
The 21-year-old, the former Jong Ajax forward, has been staging phenomenal shows for the past couple of seasons. His impressive performances have attracted him interest from several top European clubs in the past.
Fulham and Ajax Amsterdam have expressed their interest in the rising star, with the latter even having tabled a bid in the January transfer window earlier this year.
However, the youngster’s agent, Mino Raiola, recently confirmed that the Eindhoven giants have emerged as the favourites to land his client’s signature before the 2012/13 season kicks-off.
“Ajax are not in the picture. Negotiations were cut off and never resumed. We're in talks with PSV and have accepted that http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Luciano-c22574 will leave”, Railo was quoted as saying to the media.
http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/PSV-c40281, who have been finishing third on the Eredivisie table for the past three seasons, are looking to add more depth to their attacking line this summer, and targeted the Dutch attacker as a perfect addition to their squad.
http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Marcel-c23507 Brands, the Boeren technical director, recently confirmed that the club has officially tabled a bid to lure the talented winger away from Abe Lenstra Stadion.
However, the Heerenveen management have turned down their offer, revealing that the club will not let go of their prized asset for anything less than five million Euros.
With the Friesland outfit making their intentions clear, it seems like PSV will have to improve their bid if they are to acquire his services this summer.
Narsingh, who has thus far netted 13 goals while setting up plenty more in 62 Eredivisie matches for Heerenveen, is considered to be one of the best wingers playing in the highest echelons of Dutch football.
The promising attacker has an ongoing contract at Abe Lenstra Stadion that runs until the summer of 2013. However, it is widely expected that the youngster will leave his current side to join a top European club before the 2012/13
season commences.
