PT for immigrant visa planning to marry...?

Hi! im a Physical Therapist and my employer will file me for sponsorship for immigrant visa in the US as soon as it becomes available. if i get married AFTER my employer files me but BEFORE my change of status or before immigrant visa application is approved, will my husband be able to come with me to the US or do i need to petition him still?
