  1. yes no joke

  2. i know!it is real!

i didn't know babe traded to the yankees either, haha

  3. A little late there buddy!

  4. Would you rather have somebody else? Pudge can hit, catch, and throw runners out so the Yankees should be lucky they got a good catcher.

You gotta be joking to think it's a joke.

  5. SOmething!!  You must have been out of the country if you are just seeing this now!!

  6. No it's true and yesterday he hit his first home run with the Yankees.

  7. man you are laaaaaaaaaaaaaaateeeee

  8. pudge was a great player for the Tigers while they were doing bad.  but since Pudge was going to be a free agent by the end of this year they wanted to trade him so the Tigers could get someone else instead of losing pudge for no one.

  9. i know it is weird.

  10. Yep,it's the real deal.

Makes sense too: Molina can't be an everyday catcher. The Yankees need someone who has the talent of catching like Posada, someone who can put up big numbers, has a heck of a throwing arm.Someone like...IVAN RODRIGUEZ!!!

I'm sure that makes Yankee fans everywhere happy knowing Farnsworth is gone..lol

  11. no its true. in fact, he hit a HR in the yankees win yesterday. i'm actually not that surprised. i mean here's ivan rodriguez, a successful player over 30 on the tigers, a team with zero hopes of making the playoffs this year. he sees the yankees who only need a little extra push to make it this year. he asks to be traded and the yankees get him while the tigers get kyle farnsworth

  12. The Yankees need a catcher since Posada is down for the rest of the year. I thought it was a pretty good deal. He had his first home run as a Yankee yesterday(8-3-08) He is great defensively and Molina is not an everyday catcher so that gives Molina a break now. Molina is not batting too well and Pudge can bat better than Molina. For starters, let's talk about his defensive game, which makes opposing teams change their entire game plan. And let's not forget about his quick bat that generates surprising power for a stocky little guy, and above-average speed for a catcher.

  13. Yes.

  14. not catching up on your news? that was like a week ago.  Im not even really a baseball fan and i know that

  15. It's true!  He was traded to the Yankees for Kyle Farnsworth last week.

  16. That's what I thought too. The worst part about it is the Yankees traded Kyle Farnsworth for him... KYLE FARNSWORTH for one of the best defensive catchers in the game right now.

  17. Yankees made a great move here.. sadly. Pudge wanted to win.

  18. Nope.  The Tigers had catching options beyond pudge (inge for starters) and needed bullpen help with Doug Jones going down and their other late inning relievers still coming back from injury.

The Tigers are only 7 games back in their division, hardly "no chance" at making the playoffs.....

Both teams had needs and this trade worked out for them.....The Yankees received much in the quality of player, but in the depth of positions it will be interesting to see how the Yankees shore up late-inning relief before bringing in the best closer of my lifetime.

I am a Rangers fan so this is hardly biased.

  19. its never going to work

  20. How do you have no idea that this happened? He was traded to the Yanks before the deadline for Kyle Farnsworth.

  21. nope its real
