  1. It can be very fun for a college student. Tropical weather all year long.  A lot of fun places to go out at night, very friendly people.  As a student, you might enjoy it better than if you were to establish yourself permanently.  If you look for a job as a waitress you should have no problem landing one.  You must have a car or you will be VERY limited.  Bottom line is where you move to(area, town) your income,if you have a car, and your predisposition.

  2. you can find a job.... im a college student who spends lots of time with friends in pr.... def check out resorts and travel agencies.... they love fluent english speakers

  3. Yes, it will. Best bet is to stay in the USA.

  4. PR has up and downs like any other country does, but ofcourse its kind of a hastle to find a good paying job in puerto rico, to work as a professional u need at least a bachelors and/or masters degree. to world in part time jobs as a college student, then u should have problems, specially if ur bilingual its a big +

fast foods, supermarkets and factories, schools in the cafeteria hire more often. yes, u can work part time and study as well, if u have children ofcourse its a bit harder. but its not like u wont find a job, u just have to seek harder. american companies are opening more over here, such as best buys, they are hiring a lot of people via internet, office depot and walgreens, u should check those out as well.
