PUERTO VALLARTA- Which is is better? Marriott at marina OR Sheraton Boganvilias near Malecon?

Depends on what you call "better"....... in what aspect?? Distance to downtown? Quality of the hotel and services/facilities? Price? I spent a while within the sheraton during my last stay (didn't sleep there tho) and it looked like a very nice place, nice facilities, only thing that wasn't as nice was the beach..... it was a bit too rocky. But it must be worse close to the marina (if you choose to stay at the marriott).... and you're farther away from where the action is (downtown/malecon area). So it depends on what is more important for you.

Sheraton Boganvilias  is by far very nice and the beds are so comfortable which is very important to me, as I don't like vacations where you feel like you are sleeping on the hard ground, their beds you don't want to crawl out of.

First week we spend a whole lot of time relaxing and sleeping. The pools are wonderful. We prefer to eat off the grounds, and it is a close cab or

walking distance to many great places.

the best one is Sheraton Boganvilias near the malecon, its closest to the beach and its great, i go out there at least 2 times year and thats where i Stay. You will love it.

It depends in what you want.

Marriott at marina is newer and is located in a very nice area, modern and kind of "snob". Convenient if you are comming to rest and enjoy the sea.

Sheraton buganvilias is very nice too, older (but not "ugglier"), located closer to the parties in downtown (Malecon). Convenient if you are comming to go to parties at night.

I prefer Sheraton.

Both Hotel have the same kind of nice service, but Merriot is at la marina, nice place, nice restaurants within the area

in the sheraton you are in the middle of everything

down town is 10 minutes walking marina is a 20 min bus travel. the beach is almost the same, same sand same water, nice clear water are 30 minutes away in punta mita.

sheraton is more fun, marriot is more serious.

When in vallarta stop by YAMAHA store I get free maps and info, I do bike sales, enjoy Vallarta is the best!! Alan
