Pa Resturant?

I want to open a resturant in millersburg pa doess everything have to be NSF certified? or can i use like home apliances?

Anytime you are serving food to the public in a food serving establishment, you have to have NSF certified equipment. I think that it is also a requirement set by the health department. I am only talking about large appliances like stoves, ovens, walk-in coolers, dishwashers (definately that, because it gets hotter than a home one!)

They meet all requirements set by the NSF and are capable of handling high volume use, whereas a home stove or oven is not and would not last as long. It is more cost effective to have NSF equipment in the long run,
