okay, i plan on buying this pa amplifier to power my subwoofer im buying as well for my home theater system so heres the links first

pa amp

Subwoofer

the subwoofer i think said it maxes out at 500 watts and this pa amp says its 600 watts total, since this subwoofer is 8 ohms i looked for the 8 ohm wattage output for this amp and it said 300x2, what does that mean, does it mean 300rms 600peak? or does it mean 300 watts per channel

im thinking its the 300rms 600peak thing but i am not too familiar with pa amps, anyway hope someone can help me out because i want to get close to the peak with this sub so i rumble the neighboor hood

if anybody has any pa amp or power amps in mind that you could recomend to me that would be great im still looking, keep it under 150 though im on a budget

  1. that amp is 2x95watts rms, meaning 95 watts rms per channel, 2 channels. You can maybe bridge it, but i dont know how it will work, car subs are much more powerful and durable than home subs, you may need more power.
