Valencia winger, Piatti, admits that his team is struggling to fathom why they are still suffering when it comes to their away matches.
Valencia have the worst record on the road this season. They have managed to come away with just two points.
The winger has stated that they still don’t have any answers for the dismal record on their travels.
The youngster knows that things are going well for them at the Mestalla, but thinks his team is lacking the attitude when it comes to playing away from home.
“At Mestalla things are going well, but away from home we are not finding the necessary attitude or the points.”
Piatti revealed that no one in the club is feeling good about this. He mentioned that they are still unable to figure out why this is happening and everyone is concerned about this trend.
“We’re not feeling good, we are not comfortable and we do not know if it’s a question of attitude or not.”
However, he said the team is unified and believes they will come out of this problem as a team.
“The team is united in trying to overcome the adversity.”
Moreover, the Argentine believes the mentality his side adopts when they travel is the key to their process of improving their away form. He urges his teammates to have the same determination and conviction they have at the Mestalla.
The 23-year-old also warns that if Los Che fail to show more conviction on the road, then things will get very complicated for them.
“Mentality is the fundamental thing. If we don’t have the same conviction that we have at Mestalla, then it is very difficult and we could suffer like we did last weekend.”
