Manchester City full back Pablo Zabaleta wants to triumph against Sir Alex Ferguson’s men in their upcoming Manchester derby at Old Trafford and hopes to hand the Reds Devils their second defeat of the season.
Manchester United suffered their first defeat of the 2010-11 season recently against bottom placed Wolverhampton Wanderers and their 29-match unbeaten streak ended at Molineux.

On the other hand, Manchester City easily won against West Bromwich Albion by 3-0.
Zabaleta now wants to give his city rivals their first home defeat of the season. Manchester United have the best home record in the Barclays Premier League, as Sir Alex Ferguson’s men are unbeaten at Old Trafford since April 2010 and have drawn only one
match in front of the home crowd.
Zabaleta said, “I believe 100 per cent we can win because we show our character when we are in games that we really need to win. We know it will be very difficult. United are very strong and are unbeaten at home, so it would be great to break that record.
Everyone is waiting for Saturday because we know it's one of the best games to play in and enjoy.”
Manchester United are currently leading the table and are five points above City, with a match in hand too. Zabaleta, who was signed from Espanyol in 2008, claims that it would be the most important match of the season.
“We have 12 games left and have to believe that if we carry on playing as we did on Saturday we have a great chance of being at the top. I spent two and a half years in Didsbury and still go to the same fish shop - half the people there are City fans and
half are United so to go in before the game isn't good!,” he added.
A win for Manchester City on the turf of Old Trafford would once again open the title race wide open, as Manchester United would then only have a two-point lead over the Citizens and a one-point advantage over second placed Arsenal.
