Sporting Lisbon coach Domingos Paciencia will not hold his usual pre-match press conference before the crunch game against Maritimo according to reports.

With the coach set to miss today’s meeting, he will have to wait until the UEFA Europa League tie with Legia Warsaw comes around if he wants to address the press.
Although it remains to be seen what sort of impact this has on the team, it is certain that it will limit their exposure to the public and help keep the players out of the spot light.
The Sportinguistas take on Maritimo on the weekend and will be hoping to keep their momentum alive with three points.
