  1. do u know anything about keeping frogs cause if u dont u really need to read up on there general care and maintenance. too many people rush into keeping frogs and it causes suffering and death to too many animals. im not having a go its just some good advice

food: same as most frogs live insects crickets flies earthworms etc. dont leave livefood in the vivarium for more than 1 hour as it can attack your frog. young feed every day adults feed every other day as much as they will eat in 20 mins

Lighting: low wattage strip light set on a 12 hour timer

Substrate: peat free organic (no pesticides/fertilizers) potting soil (microwaved for 1 minute), eco earth, coco coir, bed a beast, or any moss that isnt spagnum in the dry half of the vivarium wet half is better to leave the bottom bare as stones or sand can cause impaction and other health issues (water depth a 1-3 inches) and an easy way out of the water water must be filtered and 1/4 change weekly or 1/4 change daily if unfiltered

Tank size 24x12x12(inches) minimum bigger is better

Temperature this is one of the hardest part 55-65F is best 70F is tolerated but not good in the long term humidity 60-70%

Vitamins: dust 1 out of every 3 feeds with a good quality calcium and vitamin reptile/amphibian powder

Decorations safe live plants or silk/plastic fake ones aquarium wood cork bark all put out in a way to give lots of climbing and hiding places

  2. why is this post on the 'Reptiles" page...frogs are amphibiams, not reptiles!

  3. well give the tree frog some water to swim in and go to a pet store and ask if they have some tree frog food and put the frog into a tank with a littel pond in the tank and put some grass in the tank with soe rocks and feed the frog one a day and give it some bugs to eat like flys and put some tree bark in the tank and put some durt in the tank hope this helped and ur welcome

  4. They would need a sort of square terrrarium and quite big and they would love flowing water....:::::::::.....

I hope this helps... it has helped quite a few people....

    The Pacific Treefrog Care Sheet:

The body is green, some specimens may have small white spots present along the back. They have a creamy white belly with blue/yellow flanks and orange toes.

Size varies depending on the s*x of the frog. Males are smaller, with a dark cream throat and average between 5-6.5cm (2-2.5 inch). Females are generally larger reaching sizes of 6.5-7.5cm (2.5-3 inch).

The Pacific Tree Frog can be found living within tropical rainforests of Central America.

The Pacific Tree Frog requires high humidity levels, it is also very important to allow good ventilation. The best enclosures are tall glass tanks with a vented mesh lid, the Exo Terra Terrariums are ideal.

Provide a deep substrate of at least 5-10cm (2-4 inch), this can be either coco fibre or live sphagnum moss. The use of a waterfall will help keep the humidity levels to around 60-70%, if this is not possible, provide a large water dish and lightly mist once a day. If condensation starts to develop on the side of the glass, reduce the misting to a few times a week.

The Pacific Tree Frog require a daytime temperature of 24-27C (75-80F), this should be lowered to 21-24C (70-75F) during the night. UV lighting is not required unless you have living plants within your enclosure.

Feed on a range of live insects from crickets, locusts, roaches and house flies. Ensure the live insects are gut loaded before feeding, this will supply nutrition to your Red Eyed Tree Frog/s. Always provide water that has been treated or left to stand for at least 24 hours. Bottled or fresh, clean rainwater can also be used.

    Again I Hope I Helped....
