  1. He will let you know by fussing when he still has the pacifier or he will spit out the pacifier and cry.

  2. He should let you know when he is hungry.... by fussing and spitting out the pacifier.

Babies know when they are hungry..... and just because he is sucking.... doesn't mean that he won't know that he isn't getting anything to eat.

Babies will suck for comfort.... not just hunger.   If you are still concerned though.... just offer food at the intervals that he usually eats.  But my son always spit out the pacifier when he was ready to eat.

My son then gave up the pacifier at about 3 months..... he just totally lost interest because he didn't need the sucking comfort.

  3. ha ha trust me he will let you know. If he gets hungry enough he will throw a fit until he gets what he wants.

  4. He will let you know!

  5. my daughter sucked her thumb... but the she did it was at first she would just suck her thumb and stay hungry.. but then after a while learned how to let me know.. she would pull her thumb out and cry, put it back in pull it out and cry.. ect..

maybe he will push out the pacifier and start to cry, if you put it back in, and he is still pushing it out crying.. he may be hungry.

    and good job on breastfeeding!!

  6. No need to worry!!  He will spit that binky right out and may even gag if you try to place it back in his mouth. Good luck
