The Grade A3 Williamhill.Com Stakes are to be held on Tuesday, 28th February at Newcastle. Six hounds will be up for competing in order to get entitled to £111 prize money.
Package Deal, Dks Prime Time’s three-year-old dark brindle son out of b***h Contact Flash, met a dreadful sixth position in his debut of the 2012 season. However, since then Package Deal has come second and third in the last three races.
On 9th February, Package Deal was second in a 480 metres race at Newcastle, he was second against Wraysbury Wren who clocked the distance in 30.35 seconds and led by a length.
Then on 16th February, Package Deal was second in the William Hill Hotbox Bet Stakes at Newcastle. He covered the 480 metres distance in 29.81 seconds and was three lengths behind the 4/5 favourite winner who took 29.57 seconds to race through
the wire.
The last time that Package Deal raced was on 23rd February in the Grade A2 William Hill – The Home Of Betting at Newcastle, he came third after covering the 480 metres distance in 29.45 seconds.
The 2/1 favourite of the race Rathmullen Mona finished the race in 29.05 seconds and led by four and a half lengths.
Package Deal has not posted a victory yet and today might just be his lucky day.
Another entry who has the potential to go across the wire before getting intimidated by the rest of the lot is Chantilly Lace, Hondo Black’s two-year-old brindle daughter out of b***h Poolie Pride. The two-year-old took hold of the very first opportunity
presented to her for posting a victory.
On 26th January, Chantilly Lace won a 480 metres race by clocking the distance in 29.71 seconds, leading by a head’s difference and cornering Daniels Baniel into the second slot. She could not post any further victories but did not let her rankings
go below the third position in the next five races.
Today he has the chance to race for the second victory of the season and also to break from the monotony of defeats that he has been facing since a while now.
Others contesting include Twenty Four, Lughill Tilly, Blackhouse Bear and Mustang Caoimhe.
