Packard Bell Easynote R1000 screen a tint of green

Question

the screen looks fine if not for a tint of green. but when i push down on the case above (where the fan unit sits?) to the left of the keyboard, the screen returns to its original colour and looks fine. i take my finger off and it goes back to the tinted green look.many thanks for any helpRichard
