Packer Fans??!!??!!?

Question

So, ive been hearing alot of "Packer Fans" saying that they wont watch another packer game because Brett is gone and he joined the jets. If they were true packer fans, they would support Brett and the packers no matter what! I still support Brett. He just wanted to play some football, and the packers wouldn't let him. I still think he is the best d**n quarterback ever. Some people are getting sick of Brett because he said he wanted to retire, but then he didnt. Its hard letting go to a team you were so involved in. Its like when you break up with your girlfriend. Down the road you will want them back (even though you wont admit it). am i right??????????

Packer fans are pretty vocal and many are disappointed to see Favre move on to another team. That being said, we saw Lombardi go to the Redskins and we still kept on being Packer fans.

I'm a Packer fan and Favre fan. I will still be watching Packer games and still be rooting for them. I will also be watching Favre play for the Jets. (Especially since I live n NY). The Packers are still my number one team. Favre going to NY will not change that.

I hate how everything turned out. In a way, I wish it was still going on so the actuality of Favre leaving Green Bay wasn't final.

I live half hour south of Green Bay and I grew up there...I don't think most Packer fans are truly going to stop watching the games just because Favre left the team, I think a lot of that is just anger.

I agree with you about Brett just wanting to play...I hope Ted Thompson gets fired for his horrible decision not to let Fare play. I am not saying that Aaron Rogers won't be a good QB...but lets face it...He make 2million a year to sit on the bench and STILL he manages to get hurt!!

You are right! I still love the Packers but I will miss #4!

The Packers will survive without Brett Favre.  

Brett Favre is not on the Packer team anymore, by his own choice.  He does not get my "support."  If I were to "support" him, I would be "supporting" the Jets, wouldn't I?!

You are right except for the wanting the girl friend back part.  Football is nothing like a girl friend.  It is much better.

Exactly Right. However if I'm jets fans i'd be worried. Brett looked kind of regretful during his press conference. He's gonna realize that New York is nothing like Green Bay, the media, the fans the whole situation isn't good. The saga isn't over just yet.

I Like Rodgers, i feel like the Packers and the Cowboys are the class of the NFC
