I'll stay with the team, but keep up with Brett Favre at the same time.   That's what I did when the Chicago Bulls(from the 90's) split up.

I am a Packer fan, so i will stay with the Packers.  I understand Favre's point of view, and i understand the upper management's point of view.  there truly is no villian, it just won't work out in Green Bay anymore.

I have always been a Packer fan and I will always be a Packer fan.  It is disheartening to see Brett go, and I wish him the best but I will always styand behiond my team even if I don't agree with their decisions.

I personally will stay with the Packers.  I can still cheer for Favre but not when he is playing the Pack. We are about to find out who the REAL Packer fans are this season!!!

Favre is the one who left.  The Packers didn't retire on Brett.  He retired on them forcing them to make other plans.  They spent the whole off season building a team around a different qb. I don't know of any other job that you can quir and then demand the job back months later when they have already hired your replacement.  Brett was a great qb but he is being childish.

Stay with my team. There's no I in team, and obviously brett favre doesn't know that either. He really needs to quit acting so selfish. And i would never be a fan for another team just because one great player left. that's kinda selfish to me.

I'll still stick with my team, but because Brett has been a personal idol of mine, I'll still hope the best for him.

Personally, if he doesn't come back to Green Bay, I hope he wins a Super Bowl for his new team, and have all this c**p blows right back in Ted Thompson's face. He's the one who put Brett in this awkward situation, telling him to stay away, trying to BRIBE him not to play football at all. And because he's too cowardly to release him, and too stubborn on Aaron Rodgers to allow him back and have a open quarterback competition, he's forcing an unwanted trade.

Whenever a superstar that's beloved and admired as much Favre is leaves your favorite team, you still wish the best for him. But this is on a completely different level, because Favre doesn't want to leave, he's being forced out. And I can deal with some losing if Favre succeeds, and shows Ted Thompson exactly how much of a JACKASS he's been.

You aren't a Packer fan if you root for the team that Favre gets traded to.  But, if a "fan" does do that, then go ahead, we don't want you rooting for the Packers anyway.  That makes you a Favre fan.  If you want to root for individuals in sports, I recommend watching NASCAR.  Football is all about the team, not individuals.  I'm a diehard Packer fan.  I love Favre and I love the Packers, but the Packers come before Favre any day of the week.  Go Pack!
