I think your GM and President showed no real respect to him but that's just my opinion.

  1. your opinion is exactly like my opinion¡¡¡

But you will see, this season Favre will have excellent results¡¡

  2. The move is going to put a lot of pressure on Rodgers.  If he performs, the management will look like geniuses, especially if Favre loses a step with the Jets.  If he flops, the fans will be calling for their heads for letting Favre leave.

I think both sides are at fault.  The team created a situation where they either had to move Rodgers in now (who they've groomed to do so) or potentially lose him and commit to Favre (who is old).  Favre was then pressured to retire with a bit of glory (a smart move, IMO) or commit to stay on longer than would be wise.  Favre then made a bad move in actually retiring and then not retiring (and then retiring, and then unretiring...) which moved the decision power to management.

Management could have treated him a bit more respectfully, but with Brett's behavior, he didn't really deserve it.

  3. Has a Bear fan, I am going to miss him.  It seems the Bears defense over the years has gotten quite good at catching his passes.

I think he got shafted by the packers though...   He is the packers and the GM showed little respect.

(wow, I am taking Favre's side)

  4. WHO CARES ive heard enough about this guy

  5. The entire green bay packers showed there true colors seeing how they just gave away there entire franchies to a unproven backup...who is not even ready to play for the packers.I mean they maid it and built it up "Open compation" and such then to insult him by offering him that deal to stay retired i hope that the packers choke seeing there not going to be getting alot of td thru the air they are goign to be more of a runnning team and in the nfl you run you dont get that far

  6. Favre was wrong to retire too early but the Packers were wrong to let him go play elsewhere (Jets). Favre was shown no respect. As a Packer fan in NY, I'm sad that he's not in Green Bay anymore but I'm glad he came to NY.

  7. Look I'm a Wisonsin girl and I love the Packers but I Favre retired and shouldn't of if he wasnt readt to give up foot ball but he made the packers and I think its unfair to rogers but was like the heart of the team so i really think they should just let him back I mean this is like killing some fans all the rallys and stuff

  8. I am so unhappy with the way that the Packers handled this whole situation. They just disregarded all of the accomplishments he made and everything he did for the team. He did make a mistake by retiring, but you dont just abandona legend who has made your team.

  9. GOOD RIDDANCE TO THE BUM!! packers will be better with rogers!! and will make super bowl without this scumbag!!!!

  10. That's where your wrong. He shouldn't have retired at all knowing he wasn't ready to quit playing football. if he had just simply NOT retired, we wouldn't even have went through all this nonsense. but i'm happy for him and the jets, and i hope they have fun together.

  11. I think Brett has showed his true colors. He's a self serving prima donna. Had everyone fooled with his aw shucks tractor riding wrangler wearing redneck act. It was a power struggle with him & Ted Thompson. Brett was the quarterback NOT the GM. Brett thought he could call the shots for the team. I think his head got too big and I wish The Jets lots of luck dealing with that egomaniac!!

  12. im from wisconsin and he really does not deserve respect. He should of stayed retired. now hes gonna ruin his legacy by being on a flop team.
