I think we should give him a chance, cause Brett's being cocky now and acting like a 2 year old. He shouldn't have retired, knowing d**n well he wasn't ready too. I don't know why people feel sorry for him. He made the choice, now he has to deal with the consequences.

But anyway, what do you think about Aaron Rodgers? I think he might be a good QB and will surprise alot of people.

  1. he is a hippie bum, wannabe!!\

we want favre back!! not that clown rogers!

  2. Aaron Rodgers is not a even close to being as Brett, and no i dont have any confidence in him. by the Way Brett Favre is not being cocky like he said he understands the consequences if green bay does not want him then let it be. However, they should allow him to play for another team, he doesn't mind but green bay does cause there afraid of him.

  3. I think he will be very good as soon as Favre goes away. He has had time to develop and learn unlike alot of QBs who were picked in the same draft. Favre needs to stop being such a premadonna and go away. Then I look forward to a smarter type of QB. I'll take brains over luck any day.

  4. The Packers is a team.  They drafted Rodgers.  They trained Rodgers.  The team plan was to work him into the starting QB position. You have to stick to some form of the team plan.  Is he as great a talent as Favre?  We just don't know.  But, it makes no sense to have a plan and then depart from it due to the unforseen circumstances of the return of the retired QB.  The way Rodgers has handled an uncomfortable situation shows me that he mature enough to be a on the field player.  And this coming from a Cowboy fan who does not want to win against a second rate team.  I want to see all NFC teams to put their best team on the field.  Packers fans have earned their bones as loyal supporters.  You deserve better than what Favre has given to a fabled franchise.  I am surprised.  I did not think he was emotionally ready to retire.  But, he is the man who went before the press and told of his plans to leave now.  I just think the team would be better served by getting as much for Favre as possible. As I understand the story,  he has 3 years left on his contract.  If a team will assume part of the obligation, Favre some of it and Packers get a first or high second draftt pick then this chapter has to be closed on Packer ball.  Rodgers actually is the only man in the drama who comes out looking like a stand up guy. He is not crying for "his chance."  He is acting like a professional.  He could end up a total bomb.  But, I would bet on Aaron being a good to great contributor. I agree with your assessment.

  5. I guess. He's been under Favre for a while, he has a bunch of targets, a great D, and we have a run game to go to now, so he should do fine.
