Packing for Sleepaway Camp?

Question

I'm going to sleep away camp for the first time in august. i have no idea what to pack, aside from clothes. I got a list of things to pack, but is there anything else? If you go to sleep away, feel free to list some of the things you bring. thankyou!

If you're bringing a camera that isn't disposable, make sure to bring extra batteries and/or a charger.

Lotion.

Fingernail clippers. - no joke, almost everytime I go away overnight I break a nail or get a hang nail -

Cards. - It can get borring in the cabins if you don't bring something to do before bed. -

take something you can pass time with like if your into sports maybe a soccer ball if your into arts maybe a book to draw in, if you have a portable dvd player take it with some of your fav. movies, and make sure to pack extra of all your toiletries, like toothpaste mouth wash, soap, conditioner, shampoo, also don't forget a pair of comfy sneakers and some flip flops and maybe even a few bathing suits.

well i just went 2 a go away camp July 2ND and came back home 10 days later.

i brought:

camera,

sunscreen,

bug spray,

clothes,

shoes,

and everything it listed.

well i hope u have a great time i ho i did. my go away camp was called camp ladore.I've did stuff like this alot of times like 2 years ago my sis and i went 2 or home state Florida and we stayed a little bit more then 2 months.no joke.
