Packing for a 14 year old... help!?

This September I am going on vacation at Big Meadows. It's in Shenandoah. We're leaving on September 18 and coming home late in the afternoon on the 21st. There are all ready beds there and a couple blankets, but it gets very cold there. I am going during school and I need to take homework too. I am lack- tos- and tolerant too, so I have to take Lactaid medicine, but will this the Lactaid work???

Is this an okay packing list for me???

5 shirts (3 long sleeve, 2 short)

5 pairs of pants

1 pair of shorts (for when we go to the bottom of the mountain for the day)

1 tank top

2 pair P.J.s (one winter pair, one summer)

2 sweatshirts

hat

gloves

scarf

1 skirt

pens/pencils

2 blankets

2 pillows

flashlight

deodorant

5 pair underwear

3 bras

razor

shaving cream

books

Nintendo Ds (mainly for the 4 hour drive)

slippers

3 pair shoes (flip flops for around the campground, sneakers and boots)

digital camera

clock

portable DVD player

laptop

snacks

hand sanitizer

soap

body wash

shampoo

conditioner

towels

cell phone

phone charger

school work

batteries

contacts

Do you think I need anything more or less??

Thanks so much for your help! I really need it and yes I know it's early to think about packing for a trip in late September, but I was thinking about what I need to do the other day and I figured I would figure out what I need to pack.

Thanks so much!!!

  1. looks good to me

  2. You are taking too many things just for 3 days?  Try cutting the list.  Take more underwear and wear some outfits twice.
