Packing for a 2 1/2 day weekend trip to Tahoe?

What should I bring? coming from the Sacramento area..

You need to bring a couple of pairs of shorts, tops, sunglasses, sunscreen, sandals, a hat, an outfit if you want to go out in the evening, possibly a light jacket in case the evenings are cooler.  For such a short trip you don't need much.  We all tend to pack way too much when we travel.
