Packing succulents for shipping.?

I want to send my neice some of the chicks from "hen and chicks" also some leaf cuttings from other succulents. How do I package them for mailing?

  1. The newspaper will work as discussed already..do keep in mind though..It is illegal to ship plants from one place to another without the necessary permits from the agriculture departments.. Do not label the contents as plants when shipping....simply put "garden utensils or something of the sort..


  2. Wrap them gently in newspaper, labeling each thing and taping the paper so it won't come undone.  Any extra space fill with crumpled paper, so the plants won't move around and break.

    I've mailed all kinds of plants across the country this way.
