I know pacman was good, he did show spirit, but Marquez he did good in fact my real score would be a draw if not Marquez should have won. I am really glad that pacman won but... I think its because the can get better business if he wins...

  1. Marquez was knocked out on the 3rd round-he went down real hard on his back.  Pacman had a hard beating from Marquez, too, but he didn't hit the canvass.  that was the valuable one point that made the difference. That was fair enough.  That made Pacman win the match.

  2. You nailed it.

Marquez and his followers just looks pathetic moaning too much.

He got knocked down so many times in the 2 fights, got beaten legally and officially, lost the belt. Take it like a man and stop acting like sissies.

Sour graping won't do anyone good. Bunch of sore losers. Stop crying!

  3. That was certainly a hard fight to judge. There were some rounds that could have gone either way, maybe Marquez lost them because of the blood factor... Pacquiao's cutman stopped the bleeding, Marquez's trainer didn't. Plus we all got that close up view of that cut it was HUGE and gushing.

  4. i had it even, but marquez was the busier of the two.

  5. Marquez won.

  6. Too close to call.. Neither side should have complained if they lost...

I, too, am sick of Marquez claiming he is still the champion and how the fight was stolen from him.  It was close, but he never "proved" he won that one.  No knockdowns.. No domination... No pounding...

Notice too how he said, "listen to the crowd....  They are booing...  They disagree with the decision"

First off, half the crowd was booing and that is being generous...  If Manny had lost by the scorecards, the other half, the Filipino crowd, would have been booing.

Marquez and his whiny promoter act like the world saw a robbery...  There was a case for both sides to win.. but Neither can say they Owned their opponent and neither can claim there was no doubt...

And yes, there should have been a 2nd knockdown in that round because Marquez was using the ropes to hold himself up... that is a knockdown, by rule!

  7. MARQUEZ WON HAD IT NOT BEEN FOR THE KNOCKDOWN.....HE HAD MORE PUNCHES LANDED....AND WAS DOING WHAT HE HAD 2 DO.....THE REASON PACMAN WON WAS THE KNOCKDOWN.....MARQUEZ WAS THE CLEAR WINNER THO....

  8. pacquiao is the champ... sucks for marquez though,,, im a filipino... funny how the neighborhood shouts and ran out of their houses because of the result... lets ask the judges,,, heheh,,, i think its fair... but, you know, we'll never know what's on the judges' minds...

  9. Yes it's fair, the big difference their was the knockdown in the 3rd round. marquez landed more punches but those punches can't make pacquiao go down. when pacquiao throws a punch marquez is like he's in the other world.

  10. For me, I want it to have the match to be a draw... They both have a great fight.... And they both got an injuries....

  11. It was a great fight... theres a difference between a close fight and a controversial fight... i think this fight was a close fight. The decision could have gone either way and i wouldn't have complained... my biggest complaint is how Marquez and his team showed no sportsmanship or class at all by complaining that much about a fight that could have been scored either way. I've seen other fights way more one sided come out the wrong way, but all three judges had similar scores... a couple of rounds difference.

And honestly, marquez fans cant complain about the decision.. because marquez was the one who got the lucky decision last time. If one of the judges scored the first round of the first fight right.... then pacquiao wins by decision. But he scored it 10-7 instead of 10-6 like he was supposed to.. thus resulting in the draw. So that kinda stumps me as to how they can complain about the decision when Marquez got lucky in the first fight. I'm not trying to take anything away from marquez, because not alot of people would have came back from three knockdowns to fight for a draw, but i'm just stating the facts...

Bottom line tho.. the outcome would have been the right outcome no matter which way the judges scored it. It was that good of a fight.
