  1. I am ready for part 3. I think the decision was dumb as  Pacquio cheated, but none the less ready for part 3

  2. I'll pass on another fight.  I don't think Pacquiao should fight again at 130 lbs. and I don't think Marquez should (or would) move up to 135 lbs. just to get a big check as he closes out his career.  I was astounded by Manny's weight gain (and I think Manuel, or Man-oooh-well as Larry Merchant called him,  took on more weight than he needed to so he wouldn't be too much lighter than Manny).  I think making weight took a lot out of him.  It looked to me like he faded down the stretch, when I thought he would be much stronger and take Marquez apart as Manuel faded.

I was pulling for Pacquiao and was disappointed by his performance.  Marquez more than met my expectations; IMO, he won the fight.

  3. Everybody would love to see them square off in the ring for the 3rd time.  Me? Definitely.  After the fight, Marquez requested a rematch,  Pacman declined it.  The fact is that Pacman is scared to fight Marquez again.  He saw how difficult part 1 was.  Today's fight was no different, if not, tougher.  I thought Marquez was ahead in this fight.  This should have been ruled a win for Marquez or another tie.

  4. Refuse to pay the $49.99 PPV, so my opinion dosen't count yet ? Was the split decision justified, or just an opening for a third fight ? You know Vegas.

  5. After giving us fans two great battles,I'm gonna be greedy and ask for a third match. After two draws ( yeah,I had it a draw too ) I'd love to see if we could get a clear winner, and if not I'll just be treated to another h**l of a night of boxing.

  6. Pacman, NEEDS to do whats best for his body . He looked spent at the end of this fight and fought on heart only during the last few rounds. His harder punches made the difference.

Marquez, for his part proved he is every bit of Pacmans equal, if not better. I enjoyed the fight, but didnt score it, but I felt like it was a draw.

As for a part three...well as good as part 2 was I think at a higher weight Pacman gets a KO. At the weight they fought tonight, we get another close decision. I think at a higher weight Mannys' natural punching power will be more evident and he'll get a KO win, and as in boxing the "What have you done for me lately rule will apply" and Manny gets all the glory while we forget the amazing effort in fight two by Marquez.

But, as money talks HBO will find a way to get them both in the ring again.

    Also, one other sidenote.

I have a friend who is a HUGE MMA fan and he watched the fight. He admitted that this was everybit, if not more entertaining than MMA. Score one for boxing, and thanks guys for a great fight that helps bring our sport back to the forefront. As well, as much as I hate Floyd Mayweather, his "fight" with Bigshow  is bringing more fans of another sport to boxing. I have an employee who is a huge wrestling who wanted to know if I knew the "Little boxer" that was named Floyd who slugged Bigshow. Boxing IS alive and well!!!!

    Keep Your Hands Up!!!

    Big Nate Dog.

  7. part 3 at 135lbs... ^^

  8. i had it even at 115-115, and yes, i would like to see a rubber match, however, i would be worried about these guys getting hurt if they keep up the same pace for another 12 rounds.

  9. What a fight that's all i can say these two guys are both warriors it could have gone either way but i think the knock down is what sealed it for Manny i kind of wished it was a draw as that would have been the fairest thing for both fighters but to tell you the truth i had Marquez winning by 1 point this is how i scored it

    round 1-----10-9 to Marquez

    round 2-----10-9 to Marquez

    round 3-----10-8 to Manny

    round 4-----10-9 to Manny

    round 5-----10-9 to Marquez

    round 6-----10-9 to Marquez

    round 7-----10-9 to Manny

    round 8-----10-9 to Marquez

    round 9-----10-9 to Manny

    round 10---10-9 to Manny

    round 11---10-9 to Marquez

    round 12---10-9 to Marquez

i had it 114--113 for Marquez

and yes i would love a part three who wouldn't after this fight but it all up to Manny because he is saying he wants to move up a weight to fight David Diaz but i think he owes it to Marquez and the fans to have a rematch but not only that i think he owes it to himself to have a rematch because he will know just how easy the decision could have gone against him

  10. I scored it razor thin 114-113 for Pacquiao, with the knockdown being the difference.  Both fighters improved since their last fight, and Pacquiao considerably so.  Marquez fought as well as could be expected, but Manny elevated his game even more, and boxed well enough to keep pace this time.  The second cut Marquez suffered, late in the fight was enough to stop a lesser fighter, Marquez showed how a warrior faces adversity, and fought through one of the worst cuts I've seen in years.  I think this one tops the Vasquez/Marquez fight of last month for fight of the year so far.

A third fight?  Most definitely!!!  After a draw that most though Marquez won, and a razor thin split decision, a third fight is almost necessary.  I am all for it.  If there was any doubt to who the best featherweight/super feather weight in the world is, Manny Pacquiao pretty much erased the last of his critics with that short, clean left hook that dropped Marquez.

Great fight between two of boxings biggest little guys.

  11. I totally do....Im not happy about the decision..they were both good..but I think Marquez was better!

  12. Great fight. I also want to see a third fight.
