Pacquiao intentionally headbutted Marquez?

If you look at the fight carefully you can see pacman step forward head first right onto marquez head. To me looks intentional headbutt. He had done it earlier on the previous rounds but until pacman produced the cut, the headbutting stopped.

  1. ahm....duh....ahhh

  2. intentional headbutts are so obvious even a person who's not really into watching boxing could tell.

people at the ringside, the judges, commentators, referee, and whatnots could've seen themselves.

now, if we both agree that it was intentional hbutt, then what would that tell us?

i could keep watching the replay over and over again, but what would that make me?

  3. Did he? So what. These things happen and fighters need to be able to win anyway.

  4. yup. JMM won

  5. I dont think so, It was how Manny fights, watch the Pacquiao Barrera first fight in round 7 where Barrera really made a deliberate headbutt but didnt hit Pacquiao though. Thats what i called a deliberate and frustrated headbutt.

  6. I haven't gone back and reviewed it, but I suppose it's possible.  I don't recall him even getting warned though, which would indicate that it wasn't obvious to the ref.  Also, since Pac doesn't like seeing his own blood, I'm not sure he would risk getting cut himself through the same headbutt.  It turned out to be a pretty nasty cut though.
