  1. The dispute has been decided....

And the only official declared winner is Pacman..

    no other trash talks included...

  2. Manny Pacquiao won. The scores were 115-112 Marquez, 115-112 Pacquiao and 114-113 for Pacquiao. So Pacquiao won by 1 point. He is the new super feather-weight champ.

  3. EM you nailed it!!!

Any true unbiased knowledgeable boxing fan would have the same thoughts.

This is professional boxing people. Not amateur boxing.

Besides sour graping is just a sign of a sore loser.

TAKE IT LIKE A MAN and move on. He lost. His belt is gone. end of the story.. next chapter please.

But like Manny said "I don't think so. Business is over".

  4. me.

  5. Pacquiao won by split decision, that means more judges (including the referee) decided on Pacquiao, even though when you total the number of points Marquez may have gotten more.

The referee raised Pacquiao's hand in victory, not Marquez'.

  6. Freddie roach is a smart man. fight couldve gone either way. Judges scored the bout for pacquiao and that's it. In the eyes of many nobody really won that fight but the only opinion that matters are the judges so that has to be respected. In my lowly opinion pacquiao won the fight but he didnt win convincingly. It was a great fight though and one that should be remembered. If fans are lucky maybe we get to see a third fight

  7. marquez can't knock manny out... that's the point

416 (Level 2) I actually wanted Pacquiao to win but let's face the truth, I'm speaking without bias here, Marquez should have definitely won the fight.

I think almost everybody have the same opinion except for those very fanatic. I think Pacquiao himself thought he was going to lose. Anyway there's nothing to be done. It was the judges decision.

I'm happy Pacquiao won but I know it was not fair.

  9. In a VERY close fight, the KD in the 3rd round was the determining factor. Pac and JMM went at it for 12 rounds and it was plain and simple that some rounds could of gone either way since it was way too close for comfort. The judges just favored the fighter who THEY thought gave the better performance based on numerous factors that they themselves

considered. In the end, this was no robbery, no conspiracy, no bullshit. The better man won a very DIFFICULT victory plain and simple. However, you can't take anything away from JMM as he proved that he was Pac's greatest opponent up to this point and put forth a valiant effort.

In the end, it can be said that the arsenal that both these fighters possess perfectly contradicts one another. In other words, Pac always had trouble with JMM's counter-punching/technical ability but JMM cannot overcome Pac's speed and power in order to get a victory. If these guys fought 3 more times, it would be too close 3 out of 3 times, unless a KO occurs. No easy victory, but IMO, Pac deserved the win. It is my opinion, and I will stick with as everyone is entitled to theirs.

  10. Manny Pacquiao is the announced winner...try to read kevin Lole's writings on The Pacquiao-Marquez bout and you"ll see how biased he was from the beginning..He was dying to see Pacquiao lose the game..Even look at his recent ranking, he ranked Pacman only 4th on pound per pound boxer not even waiting for the final result of this recent bout..He wanted to sound fair but all his writings mean otherwise..His unsolicited point system is not worth reading because he always favors the one he likes to win..Don't be confused again..try see his comments and you"ll clearly see...

  11. Yahoo is stupid, if you really watch, they announce pacquiao

  12. pacquiao did won the fight and the title belts via split decision...and oww dont read yahoo sports particularly on kevin iole's column in boxing...he's kinda biased toward pacquiao and silently a big fan of marquez...so dont believe anything he writes in his column, he's not a fair guy,...yahoo should have sacked him by now. dont get confused bec. yahoosport or...er...kevin iole...isnt a good source of boxing news...try another site for boxing. anyway, the scores here on yahoo is their view of the match. its not official. but i believe it should have been scored by someone else...not iole.
