Paddle won't turn in the breadmaker with any...

Question

My breadmaker paddle won't turn under pressure. I put all the ingred. in and turn on the machine. It starts the mixing process but the paddle doesn't turn when there is a little bit of resistance. My husband has taken it apart and the belt is good. He can try and fix it but with no instructions, it is hard. Can anyone help me?
