  1. DONT USE PADSIN THE POOL, believe me i tried once at a pool party and it was NOT good the sticky stuff on the pad isnt really waterproof and it just came off and floated in the pool.

if you can just beg your mum otherwise go swimming with 2 pairs of bikini bottoms and no pad or tampon and make sure you go "pee" every 15min to make sure its not noticable.

or like BEGGGGGGGG like crazy to your mum, say your really uncomfortable in a pad and it feels like c**p.

    xx

    hope it helps

  2. yeah I've done it before and nothing happened as long as your not heavy that day you'll be fine :)

and maybe wear dark color shorts like sofees with your bathing suit to be more safe

  3. no no no you have to wear tampons in the water if you are swimming competitively, your mom is totally wrong, how about if you put the tampon in right before your even comes up like 20 minutes then after the race, dry off, and put a new pad in, if you are on a serious team and swimming alot of events that day, then you can always tell your mom that you are changing it consistently and put it in right before the first event then, take it out right after you dry off in the last one... and tell your mom that you will strictly only wear them for when you have meets and if you go to practices while having your period..

  4. I've went swimming before when I had my period, but not with pads. It has never leaked before for me. If you where pads I heard it might bloat you up, like a diaper would. Maybe try wearing shorts, or a shortini. That's the swim suits with the skirt like bottoms.

  5. no no no no no not good my friend it will just make period show even more!  Try begging your mom and if she doesn;t agree tell her to let you go to your doctor and the three of you can talk about pads tampons and swimming together. GOOD LUCK! you'll need it!
