probably the brits will treat him like a returning hero, possibly similar in style to the welcome  that Barry George received from the British press adn the majority Brit public.  The BBC will spin the story, making it look like good old gary glitter was really harmless.  You even have one on replying to this post that "he served his time".  The BBC  spun the story on Barry George literally whitewashing his past offences as 1) stalking = pestering and 2) rape = inteferring women.

It's my only regret is that the future Michael Ryan's always end up massacering innocent people and not taking out the scum in society, the people that truly deserve to be gotten rid of.
