I can use the narrow option but cannot use the wide layout Why.

What would I have to do to use the wide layout.

A link to your 360 space (actually, the public 360 blog area) would be helpful in answering your question.

The main cause of a narrow layout in the blog area is the highlighted posts column. Click "Edit" on your highlighted blog entries, the "Show Options" link, unselect the highlight option, and re-save. If you don't have the highlighted posts column, then you will have a wider blog area.
