Paid and unpaid traffic tickets arrest warrants.?

hello,

I live in Texas, and by now, two unpaid traffic tickets will have turned into arrest warrants. Assuming I don't get arrested, and that I pay my warrants off before I get arrested, will the fact that an arrest warrant was issued for me show up on a background check, or will it only show up if I do get arrested?

  1. how could unpaid traffic tickets lead to an arrest? unless both tickets add up to big bucks, there is no arrest or record. just pay the fine and if they say anything tell them you had personal problems

  2. First you should find out if you do in fact have any arrest warrants. See the link below for how to do this. If you do then I believe that they will show up on a background check.

If you do have warrants then you should contact a lawyer to make sure that you give yourself up in the correct way so that you don't get into deeper trouble. Somewhere along the line you will have to pay the tickets and any other costs that might have accumulated.

If you don't have any warrants then just arrange to pay the tickets.
