Paid below minimum wage...?

I work at a country club at a snack bar and I recieve $7.50 and hour, yet in my state the minimum wage is $8.00. I believe that there might be a ruling that enables my company to pay me less money if i recieve a certain amount of tips. Is this true? cause i barely recieve $30 a month in tips

  1. You're overpaid regardless. I wouldn't complain if I were you.


  2. Most states and the federal law have "tip credits"  or something equivalent.
