Paid for an item on ebay but never got a msg to say "thank you for your payment"

Question

what will i do, i checked my email address and ebay inbox but have no msg,

i paid through paypal and it said "your payment was successful"

so what am i to do now?

hi timm, ya know little things like that can eat at you like a cancer i have done it. like when you buy somehing they should have thanked you for the payment so just to make you feel better thank you for the payment. more important things to worry about good luck hope i have been helpful to you

Don't sweat it.

You won't always get "confirmation" messages from the seller.  Some use an automated service to send these, some will send them "personally" (Small/infrequent sellers) and some don't send any confirmation at all.

You may or may not get a shipping notice when the product ships...  Give it a week and you should have your product... :)

If you are really concerned, just send an email to the seller and tell them you'd like to verify they got payment, as something "strange" happened during checkout that you'd never seen before, but it had eventually said payment was sent.  That way you won't sound "weird" asking them the question.
