Paid for iPod Touch 2.0 update, but having trouble restoring?

I paid for the iPod Touch 2.0 update, which then removes things I've downloaded. This makes it so that I have to restore my iPod Touch to get everything from my Library back into it. However, when I press "Restore," it loads and then a window pops up saying "The iPod~iPod~ could not be restored. An unknown error occurred (1604)."

How do I fix?

OMG that has happened to me!  I just kept doing it like all day then FINALLY it worked!  Believe it or not i also prayed about it so that may help!
