Paiges Angel lands Owners Bonus Series Final at Kinsley
Paiges Angel faced no difficulty in crushing her rivals in the finale of Owners Bonus Series, held at Kinsley on Sunday, June 10th. G. Strike’s charge dominated the proceedings from pillar to post, giving the opposition no chance to spoil her
party.
The £500 event was one of the major events at Kinsley. As expected, the 462 metres race produced a lot of thrill and drama. After leaving the fourth trap with odds of 7 to 1, Paiges Angel made no mistake and established her dominance soon after the beginning.
She was quickly away, continuing her superb work till the finishing line. Sol Tinto tried his best to fancy some chances, but remained helpless in front of Paiges Angel’s classy act.
Following a tremendous effort all the way through, the winning b***h stopped the clock in 28.44 seconds, seizing the top place by one and a quarter lengths.
Sol Tinto also did well, but was unable to create any problem for the champion. The black dog secured the runner-up place, covering the area in 28.54 seconds. Sparkling Air was also terrific in terms of speed, as she ended up among top-3.
It was a terrible outcome for Suerita Joe, who was carrying the highest starting price of 2 to 1. The black b***h showed an early pace, but failed to continue her good work. She was forced to check twice and as a result, finished at bottom of the table.
Kinsley also hosted the opening round of Betfred Gymcrack. Heat 1 saw Whittle Murtagh upsetting the 5-4 favourite, Maglass Rumble, by five and a quarter lengths.
The second heat was even more entertaining, despite the fact that it was an expected result. The 7-4 favourite, Rathanny Ruso, won the race by 4½ lengths to confirm his berth in the next round.
Droopys Jay Paul created a huge upset in the third heat, sealing the top position by 7½ lengths. Heat 4 was dominated by Glaise Giant whereas the fifth race saw Jaytee Youngy stealing the show.
In the final heat of the Betfred Gymcrack, Blazing Ruso did a wonderful job, bagging the winning cheque by one and a half lengths.
