I have this pain under my left knee cap, I've had it for a couple months now, I got it checked out a while ago and the docter said it would go away in a week or two and it hasn't. My folks say I might have to wait till it stops growing, but I don't know if it could be something eles wrong with it.

  1. Check out www.mckenziemdt.org and find a therapist near you.  One that treats extremities can and will help you.

  2. Its probably just growing pains, but what does your knee look like? It there a bump or two underneath your knee cap?

If it just looks normal its most likely growing pains. Try taking a pain killer like Advil or Tylenol.

  3. apply ice to the knee, you might have a subluxation of the knee cap?

it will go away with time and ice helps alot

  4. i got the same problem!, it is a pain in the ***. It will pass, its just inflamation. Basically you and I, just have to rest for a while, whens it is really painful, apply some ice.
