Pain after physical therapy?

I hurt my knee playing soccer in april and my doctor said it may be a torn meniscus and MCL so I had an MRI done about 2 months ago and it showed nothing. So i started physical therapy about a month and a half ago, i have 8 appointments left. It has been sore after i get done but only for a few hours then it goes away, so yesterday we started the "agility" part and when i got done, my knee hurt so bad i could hardly walk, i woke up today and the same thing it hurts really bad, i took my pain meds. and it doesn't help, is physical therapy supposed to do this? Could there still be something wrong?

  1. SOunds like you might have re-aggravated it maybe you tried to do too much.

  2. Maybe this pain is due to the healing process. Are you taking V-B group for the muscules and nerves?.. I am referring here to to high doses of B2, B6, and B12. They might help to reduce the pain a little. If u r in doubt consulst your doctor. Wish u a speedy recovery.

  3. In your best interest, please contact your DR right away.  They can help you.  Good Luck.
